Meet Lee – The OG of New Chapter Studio

The very first one to join the New Chapter team, our true original!

Lee is our hair-cutting, color-mixing, wig-making British aunty. With a heart of gold and a tongue sharper than a knife, there’s never a dull moment when Lee’s around. Completely fixated on hair, Lee puts passion into every blow-dry, every color, and every strand.

And when Friday comes around? You’ll find Lee with a drink in hand, dancing around the salon and celebrating the week in style.

Meet Stuart – Barber Straight Outta Wales

Stuart is the man you go to for the sharpest skin fade in town. He loves to chat, always brings great energy to the salon, and has a smile that’s completely contagious. A true optimist, Stuart sees the bright side of everything.

Known for his original style, he always looks fantastic a real fashion lover with a passion for design. When he’s not perfecting fades, he’s working on his own clothing line, creating pieces that reflect his unique taste and creativity.

Meet Tess – The Long Hair Specialist

Tess is always smiling and radiates positive energy in the salon. When she’s not focused on her clients, you might catch her daydreaming about what she’s going to eat next or planning a delicious dinner for her friends or family.

Specializing in cutting and coloring long hair, Tess is the go-to stylist for blonde babes and anyone seeking a beautiful, natural look. Her passion for hair shows in every detail, making every client feel fabulous

Meet Simon - UK Hipster

Originally from the UK, Simon has been living in Amsterdam for over 10 years. An all-round hairstylist, he has every aspect of cutting down to a tee but is specialized in bobs, ladies’ short cuts and barbering.

Simon takes his time with every client because perfection can’t be rushed! Talk about movies, horror, tattoos or cats and you’ll chat for hours. Before he even starts, he makes sure his own moustache is perfectly blow-dried and styled (a crucial part of his morning ritual).

Meet Juul aka Doki nails - Our Nail Artist Extraordinaire

If you’ve ever visited our salon, you’ve probably heard the sound of laughter coming from the nail corner; that’s Juul at work! As our nail artist, she’s always buzzing with energy, creativity, inspiration and a fully booked schedule.

Doing nails isn’t just her job, it’s her passion. Every set she creates is a tiny piece of art made with love and attention. She has a big love for tmi, loves to chat and share stories. Every appointment feels like catching up with a friend.

Meet Jonathan — Our Most Charming Señor

Jonathan makes everyone’s hair look amazing and somehow keeps his own perfectly styled, too. As our resident DJ, he sets the vibe in the salon with good music!

A master with the scissors, Jonathan is an all-round hairdresser who truly knows his craft. He’s a favorite among our Spanish- and Italian-speaking clients… or anyone who wants to practice their language skills while getting a fantastic haircut.

Tess believes hair should look and feel easy, never overdone, just effortlessly gorgeous. And if you spot a tiny black pomeranian wandering around the salon, thats Teddy, her adorable sidekick.

Starting his career as a hairdresser at just 17, he has built a journey that has taken him to many places, including some time in London. With years of experience and a true passion for his craft, he focuses on creating effortless, confidence-boosting looks for every client.
